MNO TALKBACK – RESULTS DRAWN AND NEW QUESTION POSTED

Finally for today I think it’s probably time to close the last opinion poll that ran on the MNO TalkBack page, discuss the results, and add a brand new question. So, you might remember the controversy surrounding two recent closures. Indeed I’d be surprised if it’s not fresh in your memory for some time to come given at how badly some people got scammed. I’m talking of course about Royal7 and RapidInterest, specifically in this case though it could just as easily be any other scam HYIP. The thing about these two programs (which I believe were from the same admin anyway) is that he deliberately created the illusion that he might be the same admin that ran some hugely successful programs in the past. Now I should be clear about this, he never actually made such a claim himself personally, not directly anyway, but he was quite happy to allow other people to think it. Both websites were practically carbon copies of the older (thoroughly excellent) programs with only minor changes to the names. And what do you know, people starved of success for far too long in the HYIP industry and understandably eager to see the next big thing finally come along were absolutely ready to jump on it. A lot of this was based on the mistaken belief (or hope) that the admin in question was actually someone else, an admin who famously sees the best way to making money for himself is to get as many people as possible into profit along the way.

This wasn’t to be, but that’s where we’re going with the last opinion poll. I asked readers this question: How important is the identity of the admin of the HYIPs you join?

Despite the fact that this recent case only serves to highlight how easy this is to manipulate, a strong two thirds majority of you voted “It’s very important to know the admin’s track record, both good and bad” which came in with 67% of the vote. I suppose to be fair I did include that readers may wish to identify the bad programs to avoid as well as the good ones, but the fact is that HYIP admins will very rarely hold their hand up and admit to ever running anything. Sometimes they do after their program closes, but never say anything at the time. In distant second place with 20% of the vote was the more pragmatic approach, with readers answering the admin’s identity is “Somewhat important, but can’t be proven 100% so I don’t think about it much”. The remaining 13% of you hold the opinion that the admin’s identity is “Of no importance, it’s too easy to fake and good admins can run bad HYIPs too”. I suppose all three answers are at least partially right, it’s just a matter of personal opinion and strategy how much thought you really want to put into questions like that which ultimately no one can ever really give you a 100% guaranteed rock solid answer to anyway before you invest your money.

With that issue now behind us I want to take a sort of “mid term report” if you like for the next opinion poll. With January now into it’s final 48 hours and nobody referring to 2019 as “the new year” anymore, I’d like to ask how the month has been for you so far. Of course it always gets off to a slow start, that’s to be expected every January what with all the holidays and so on, but it’s back to business pretty seriously once the dust settles and hangovers wear off after party season. Personally I would have to say there was a marked increase in activities in the HYIP industry in this January compared to just about any month in the second half of last year so that’s always encouraging, but what about your personal experience so far? Has it been good? Profitable? Has it been what you expected, regardless of whether those expectations were good, bad, or indifferent? So, the question I’d like to put to MNO readers for your consideration today is: How was your experience in the HYIP industry this January?

Possible answers can be drawn from the following options, just pick whatever you feel is the closest representation of how you feel:

– Very good, I have earned more than expected
– About average, nothing happened to surprise me
– Not good, I’ve lost more money than I’ve earned

The last couple of days were very unfortunate for many investors who had the misfortune to invest in Royal7 or RapidInterest, as both programs stopped paying on Monday (unexpectedly for many, but not as much so for myself). 12DailyCoins also stopped paying last night after completing one full cycle, but for totally different reasons outside of the admin’s control. More on this will be at the end of today’s update where I try to analyse the possible reasons for this untimely demise and outlined some lessons we can all learn from the episode. Life goes on though and the HYIP industry doesn’t look that bad when we have such huge hits with lots of members already in profit, like BitAeon and Weenzee with all of them on Paying status on the Premium List of the MNO monitor and whose latest news from I’m going to report in today’s news article.

I must admit that without this guide you might have a tricky time getting to grips with the complicated layout of Weenzee, let alone make an investment. ROYAL7 AND RAPIDINTEREST – LAUNCHED AND SCAMMED ON THE SAME DAY, APPARENTLY RUN BY THE SAME SERIAL SCAMMER

Unfortunately I have to finish today’s update with some really bad news of fast scams from the admin of RapidInterest and Royal7 whose programs stopped paying on Monday. I guess by now no one could really doubt that both programs were connected and run by the same person trying to imitate some successful programs of the past but failed utterly. Not for himself personally though because the admin has got hundreds of thousands in deposits after less than two weeks online (crazy, eh/), although I must admit that both Royal7 and RapidInterest suffered an obvious cashflow issue by their second week online with only tiny sums of money being thrown in by occasional investors. It seems all the hype surrounding both (but especially Royal7) has come to an end pretty quickly and no more extra ads or listings could improve the situation. Of course, if the admin wasn’t that greedy he could easily continue to pay this week as well and there was a chance that more investors would jump in after a few days when the reputation of both R7 and RI would have strengthened. Over the first week though some people did invest some ridiculously high amounts even despite not being 100% sure that either Royal7 or RapidInterest were run by an admin with any real pedigree that everyone was expecting to see return this year and had extremely high hopes for. That really played a huge part in the admin’s decision to close up shop so early leaving only some smarter investors in profit (talking of those who invested into the 110% after 7 days plan in Royal7 or, like myself, withdrew their principals in the second week of RapidInterest). The first danger signs of the impending collapse of Royal7 (dragging RapidInterest naturally down with it) appeared on Friday when the admin posted a weird update on the website despite being totally silent from the day of launch. The news was rightly ignored by the MNO blog and not included with Sunday’s news update as I feared it was a bad omen. The most likely day for Royal7 was Monday (as no payments would ever be processed on Saturdays and Sundays anyway). And it did happen as I suspected so I have a few more things to discuss regarding Royal7 and RapidInterest where further investments are not advised as no payments have been processed over the last few days, but first let’s have a look at the last farewell news from the admin of Royal7:

“UPDATES & IMPROVEMENTS
We would like to take this moment and congratulate our devoted members, in behalf of our team and board of partners. We are deeply grateful for the positive feedback we have received so far from our dear members & affiliates along the way.
We wish to celebrate this special event with 3 improvements:

By reading this newsletter you may have noticed that absolutely no improvements the admin entitled his report were made. No effort has been made whatsoever to improve investors’ experience which we should rightfully expect from any admin willing to move on and not keeping things stale. But if no improvements have been done what is the point of this newsletter issued exactly on Friday night, after the last batch of withdrawals were processed and the admin was on a well-deserved rest after a hectic week? The point is to get more large investments over the next 48 to 60 hours, as he has been probably planning already scamming on Monday and counted on some promoters and greedy investors who would promote his program despite any warning signs. MNO has never been and will never become one of such irresponsible promoters as I have never told you that Royal7 and RapidInterest were coming from some legendary admin but only noted some undisputed similarities between Royal7, RapidIncome and its predecessors whose almost exact copycats they were. Yes, I must admit I had my doubts as to the admin’s personality at first, but my opinion totally shifted in the second week online for both RapidInterest and Royal7 as there were some peculiarities that no experienced admin having run previously successful projects in the past would allow if he intended to repeat his previous successes. So what are those points that could pinpoint the getting well prepared fast scams most of us didn’t expect from Royal7 and RapidInterest (that might be actually good points to consider in the future to determine similar well disguised fast scams):

1) High levels of money spent on advertising on questionable sources right after launch. Both programs have only purchased Standard listing on MNO (to make it look like they were by the actual big 7-related admin who followed the same tactic), and yet the admin also bought banners everywhere and listings on other blogs which neither Royalty7 nor LaserOnline, or similar big programs ever did in the first weeks online, exclusively advertising their programs on MNO right from the start and gradually expanding over time.

2) Too much effort seemed to be put into making the websites of both Royal7 and RapidInterest almost exact copycats of the previously successful projects. Royal7 even purchased the BlockDDoS hosting, both expensive and unnecessary since they have been many times reported as being explicitly malicious and vulnerable to hacking attacks made by their own staff against the sites they are paid to protect. Times have changed, so why trying to completely mimic the previous programs by even having a Blockchain addresses starting from 1R7 or 1RRR. Both programs even launched on January 7 as if to claim the admin’s supposed identity. It all looks like screaming for attention by a spoilt child rather than a well planned and executed strategy from an experienced admin with years of practice.

3) All stages of Royal7‘s development seemed to have been rushed and with no reputation earned a weird newsletter was issued practically begging more funds to be invested over the last weekend to make the admin’s dream of a perfect holiday vacation come true at the expense of unsuspecting newcomers. For the obvious reasons of concealing the real issues with Royal7‘s bleeding cashflow on the second week the admin purchased the ISP VIP status to hide the daily income from mostly Russian-based websites which seems not to have helped much after all with almost no deposits from my readers coming over the last few days anyway.

I could go on and on regarding Royal7 and RapidInterest but I guess a full analysis would take more space than I believe most readers would want. I guess we all should learn a hard lesson given to us by the admin of these disastrous programs and make the conclusion to be more cautious next time by never investing more money than you can afford to lose, if you believe that a new program is a surefire deal on your way to riches. Do not lose your head or open your wallets too easily, guys, as I always say at the end of every review posted on the MNO blog while especially emphasizing it in the review of Royal7 which I had huge doubts would become anything big after the explosive first week and rather poor second week online. Royal7 and RapidInterest have been moved to Scam status on the MNO monitor and the topic is now closed – do not invest there anymore, guys!

12DAILYCOINS – GONE AFTER ONE CYCLE COMPLETED DUE TO A HACKING INCIDENT

I guess no one can deny that unlike the previous two 12DailyCoins was a great performer that lasted for well over 12 days which gave the people who joined it first ample opportunity to complete the full 12%x12 days cycle and finish with a decent 44% net profit on their investment. Of course, not everyone was that lucky as not everyone made an investment early enough after the 12DailyCoins official launch and its appearance on MNO’s Premium List, but I guess many others took the chance and jumped in. In any case, I’m aware of the fact that the admin had some really good intentions to run his program for much longer than one cycle, but unfortunately good intentions alone don’t achieve much. A hacking incident happened last night and due to instant withdrawals it allowed the hacker to withdraw quite a sizeable amount of BitCoin funds intended for members. Now I don’t want to go into much detail of what happened and what was explained to me by the admin of 12DailyCoins in our email exchange, I just know that he’s telling the truth and though no consolation for members who lost money it has to be said this misfortune prevented the program from continuing. In any case some valuable lessons have been learnt by the admin in this case and for his next program that will surely make an appearance on MNO when the time comes he will be better prepared in terms of providing a safer environment for instant withdrawals which can be more of a hindrance than a help in certain cases. That’s what happened to 12DailyCoins which has now moved to Scam status on the MNO monitor – do not invest there!

MNO TALKBACK – RESULTS DRAWN AND NEW QUESTION POSTED

I’m going to wrap things up for today by looking at the results of the most recent opinion poll from the MNO TalkBack page. I’ll also be adding another new question based on some of the debates currently occupying the time of a lot HYIP investors on various discussion platforms, but more on that in a moment. First of all though, and I must admit it’s with a great deal of caution that I say this, but 2019 is already looking like a vast improvement over last year. Obviously I understand that it’s a brave and ambitious statement to make when we are barely three weeks into January, but the fact of the matter is that there’s a lot more activity in the industry right now than there has been for quite some time. We can see a variety of styles and choices out there now catering to the demands of a wide spectrum of investors, with short, medium, and long term options all vying for your attention. And it isn’t just new programs either, there’s been a couple of slow burners that I suspect will only reach their full potential in the months to come. So with this in mind I put the question to MNO readers about what they think of the present and immediate future of the HYIP industry, the exact question being: Do you think the new HYIP industry leaders have arrived to MNO already?

I must say I was quite pleased to see a clear majority of readers sharing my optimism, with 60% of you voting “Yes, I can clearly see one or two potential candidates”. Now whether that turns out to be misguided remains to be seen, but the industry is long overdue a recovery and if we can see out January as an overall success story then there’s no reason why the coming spring season can’t be a profitable time for all of us as well. A further 30% of voters are still sitting on the fence on this issue, taking a more pragmatic approach to the question saying “Hard to tell, it’ll depend on their future performance”. It seems the remaining 10% of voters are yet to emerge from the lowest points of 2018 and still don’t recognise what I would have thought was a clear improvement in the industry, voting for the option “No, new leaders are not here yet and will come later”. Well, who ever happens to be right on this matter one thing is for sure, we are definitely in for some interesting times in the HYIP industry in the coming months.

This leads us on to the subject for the next opinion poll which will be open as usual for around the next week or so. Something that’s got a lot of folks talking about a number new programs that launched recently is their seemingly almost impossible resemblance to successful programs from previous years. Not just any old fast scams now, I mean programs that were enormously popular with HYIP investors and which put countless members into massive profit. I should point out that at no point did any of the admins running the new programs make any claim to have been responsible for running other successful programs in the past, however it’s kind of a case of what you don’t say being more important than what you do say if you know what I mean. Without explicitly claiming to have any involvement with other HYIPs in the past, the admins are clearly happy to not correct you if you happen to draw the conclusion (rightly or wrongly) that perhaps they were behind some popular programs. I mean I for one certainly do not believe that it’s purely a sheer coincidence that new programs with identical investment plans, designs, strategies, and names that are only just barely different to the older programs they wish to emulate would all just pop up at the same time like that. Whether the new and old programs are genuinely run by the same experienced admins is the million dollar question here, but they are definitely happy to just sit back and allow you to think they are without and confirmation or denial. Not that you could prove any claims about this one way or another, or even believe them for that matter.

But the point I’m trying to get across here is that if HYIP admins would like you to think they might have been responsible for good programs in the past, clearly they attach some degree of importance to this in their business strategies. But do you as an investor think the same? If I was somehow able to magically guarantee you the the admin of “Program X” from two or three years ago is 100% the same admin of “Program Y” running today (something I can’t do by the way) how would it influence your decision? Would you even care? That’s the question I’d like to put to MNO readers today for the new poll, specifically:

How important is the identity of the admin of the HYIPs you join?

Possible answers, and I know it’s tricky but I’ll try to give options that will hopeful come close to most people’s opinions are as follows:

– It’s very important to know the admin’s track record, both good and bad
– Somewhat important, but can’t be proven 100% so I don’t think about it much
– Of no importance, it’s too easy to fake and good admins can run bad HYIPs too
