As later in the post I’m going to introduce the finally launched program called GiantSquid that exclusively works with the USDT Tether currency I would like to start with an introduction to Stablecoins and Tether as the best example. That should hopefully make up your mind on whether you like to start using Tether as an investment tool or just as a storage for trading cryptocurrencies without the downside of market’s high volatility. So let’s start with that before moving on to the latest news from the HYIP industry and the MNO monitored programs.

To introduce Tether I don’t think it’s necessary to delve too far back in history, at least not in the sense that it’s already been well documented elsewhere and not really all that helpful to repeat an explanation of what a cryptocurrency is. There are however so many different cryptocurrencies out there on the net these days I’m not exaggerating when I say I literally have no idea of the numbers anymore. All the time I hear a new name only to find out that it’s been in operation for years before I ever even heard of it, there really is that many. So what is it then that makes Tether so different from any of the others?

Well, in many ways Tether could be considered as being in the best position to succeed in its intended purpose, much more so than the more popular options like BitCoin or Ethereum. That is to say as a currency people use to spend on everyday goods and services as opposed to purely a means of speculation and gambling which is what so many cryptocurrencies are sliding into. Because Tether is a so called “stablecoin”, its value is permanently pegged to the US dollar which means you get all the benefits of using an anonymous cryptocurrency without the constant worry and sleepless nights over the value of your money getting wiped out in the space of a few hours like we’ve seen before. 100 Tethers (or USDT to give it the correct abbreviation) is worth $100 USD today, and you can come back in a month to find it’s still worth $100 USD then as well. No good for currency speculation, OK, but if that’s your thing then there are plenty of other avenues open to you for such high risk activities. So in other words Tether protects users from the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets by fixing the value of its cryptocurrency to the value of an established hard currency. Hence the name “Tether” one imagines. All Tether tokens are in theory then 100% backed by Tether’s dollar reserves. Whereas you are protected from the volatility of the cryptocurrency market you are still of course subject to fluctuations in the value of the hard fiat currency, but in comparison this is almost negligible.

So far so good, but if only it were that simple and straight forward. You see where things get complicated is when we learn that Tether is also inexorably linked to Ethereum. Why so? Well, in a nutshell like most services it isn’t free. Just like real world banking, either online or off, there are other people involved expecting and entitled to be paid. So, Tether is a so-called ERC20 token which means its transactions are carried out on the Ethereum blockchain. This means that the sender is required to pay a fee in ETH to ensure their transaction is completed. It’s free of charge to receive a payment in Tether by the way, as it is to store it on your wallet just not free to send it. You will need a certain amount of ETH in order to exchange Tether for any other cryptocurrency within the blockchain.com wallet, or to send it externally to a third-party exchanger. Ordinarily this wouldn’t be too big of a deal, after all it’s only fair and reasonable that you pay for a service if you wish to use it. The problem arises when, as is happening right now at the time of writing, the current cryptocurrency frenzy which has seen prices sky rocket all across the board has also led to transaction fees escalating accordingly, to such an extent that it provides extremely poor value for money if dealing in small to moderate amounts like most HYIP investors would be.

What then are the advantages of using Tether? The thing is that at first glance most cryptocurrency users will mostly be accustomed to using them for the very reason that the price is unpredictable, i.e. deliberate speculation for profit and not for day-to-day financial business transactions. If you’re not going to use it as such, one might then question the purpose of a cryptocurrency entirely designed on maintaining a fixed price. No bubbles like you see in the likes of BitCoin. Owning and storing Tether is therefore more like a deposit in a bank account that pays 0% interest, or just keeping a bag of cash stored in a safety deposit box. So if the very ownership of Tether provides no possibility of financial gain by itself, why use it at all? Well, in practical terms Tether can sometimes prove extremely useful to traders and investors as an alternative to fiat currencies. There are several good reasons why for reasons I shall try and briefly explore below.

First of all it’s the transaction time. Hard currency deposits and withdrawals to and from foreign exchanges are often a time-consuming process. Factor in weekends, bank holidays, regular 9 to 5 business hours, and waiting times may be considerably extended. By contrast, Tether transactions are completed in minutes. This benefit is significant because cryptocurrency traders usually need to move fast anyway because they never know when the value of what they are holding can drop rapidly.

Then consider regular banking transaction fees, especially when moving money internationally. SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication) transfers are very expensive and can, depending on your bank and jurisdiction, easily cost upwards of $20 to $30 regardless of how much you are moving. Additionally when moving money between different currency areas (one country using dollars to another using euros for example), the banks will charge an extra foreign exchange conversion fee and percentage of the amount. By contrast, Tether charges zero transaction fees when moving between Tether wallets, however standard blockchain network fees apply.

And then of course there is the price stability, even though that’s not always exactly what some players are really looking for. Cryptocurrencies in general are as you know notorious for being volatile, and trading one volatile currency for another creates a great deal of complication and extra risk. That’s why a stable base currency is extremely useful. For example imagine the following situation where and investor wants to trade BitCoin for Ethereum because they identify a potential sharp rise in value there. They convert BTC to buy ETH, which then rises by 10%. In order to cash in and take the profit they sell the now inflated ETH back for BTC. Except while the trade is still being processed, Bitcoin falls by 15%. Despite being correct about Ethereum’s rising value they still take a loss due to the fall of BTC. In this case by using Tether the investor’s sole concern would only have been the price of Ethereum, thus protecting the profit.

I will admit there’s a lot more to say about Tether, but the intention of this article is just a basic introduction. I may return to the subject in future articles to discuss the buying and selling of Tether, the most suitable wallets for your own unique requirements for the currency, and so forth, but not today as I only wanted to discuss the broader concepts of what it’s all about. GIANTSQUID INTRODUCTION

Despite GiantSquid launching on Monday as planned at the time of writing I’m still struggling to understand how exactly the program works. Although the admin did extend the top banner spot on the MNO monitor until the end of March he seems to have forgotten to credit my account with USDT balance which I need to have in order to start monitoring it properly. That explains why GiantSquid is still listed under Waiting status on the MNO monitor. I do hope to have everything sorted out with my account to further familiarize myself with the main features of the program so as to work on a more detailed review on my blog by Monday the latest.

12/02/2021. HYIP Admins’ Dirty Secrets (Part 5 – Fake Past Achievements) and Daily News from the HYIP Industry

Hello guys. Even in the height of the current pandemic MNO helps keep you updated on all the latest trends and analysis of the HYIP industry and provides you with the highest quality HYIPs run by the utmost professionals in the business. There might not be a whole lot of new HYIPs coming out this year, but there’s a perfectly good explanation for that. Many admins and investors alike have switched to cryptocurrencies, trying to make a buck during its ongoing boom and rightly so – BTC has been breaking all records hitting $48.2K just yesterday. Many other cryptocurrencies are following suit with Ethereum surpassing $1.8K earlier this week and LiteCoin nearly reaching the $200 threshold.

The cryptocurrency craze is certainly a force to be reckoned with, as the HYIP industry took a hit and some money was attracted to alternative markets where it’s not unusual to make 25% per day without the significant risk investing in HYIPs inherently poses. At the same time, we cannot see the long-term effect on the industry that this may bring and the new generations of programs it might bear. The new breed of HYIP admins are already there and mostly rely on people professionally involved in trading cryptocurrencies in order to push their offers rather than the average HYIP investor. The cryptocurrency world is where the lion’s share of all the money is now and you cannot really deny it, but the smartest admins will actually embrace and adapt the new model, while the old and stale admins die off eventually. The process has started already and cannot be stopped, whether you like it or not, and it will inevitably shape the future of the HYIP industry and the direction it’s going to take.

Speaking of the devil though, in order to build a successful program HYIP admins have their own dirty little secrets they don’t want you to know which I have been covering on my blog in this series of articles. Today I would like to speak about faking past achievements which 90% of the HYIP admins are guilty of. Let’s look into this a bit more.

You might be asking why every new program is run by a different person that assumes a new alias and pretends to have nothing to do with any previous programs that were run in the past. And there is a good reason for that. Starting a new project nobody wants to hold off from possible long-term growth and jeopardize its chances of success by admitting to managing a previous program where many people have participated and lost money in. That is a good way to obtain many detractors who will not stop trying to destroy their new program by accusing them of stealing and previous dishonesty. So any sane HYIP admin will always deny that he ran any program before, but if we believe them then the whole industry is run by newbies and the number of professional admins is close to zero.

This all make sense to you I guess. What doesn’t make any sense at first glance is that some HYIP admins actually insist you know what previous projects they were responsible for. Well, if you think they are stupid by admitting it think again. No HYIP admin in his right mind would admit he ran anything previously not to be accused of stealing money from previous investors (we all know how all HYIPs end up eventually anyway), so when he tells you what he ran in the past make sure he has a hidden agenda. And that will be assuring you to part with your hard earned cash by misleading you into thinking that his previous program was a huge success, so it’s nearly impossible to lose your investment.

That is actually a very dangerous thing to do – to invest more than you can afford to lose simply based on the fact (whether true or not) that the admin in question is definitely going to repeat the success of his previous project. In fact, quite the opposite usually happens – the admin deliberately spreads rumors of his huge past successes with only one aim in mind. And that will be to create a deliberate fast scam where everyone will hurry to pour their funds right from the very beginning in hope of making huge profits. This in turn will make up for the efforts and actual hard work the admin in question might have put into running his previous project and giving him the irresistible temptation to close up shop in the very early stages with no one in profit except himself.

If you think that such tactics are rare among the admins you’re totally mistaken. A good example of that I can give to you right now off the top of my head. An admin contacts me and pre-pays for the listing of his program that he’s going to launch at some point in the future. He claims (while providing me with proof) that he ran a hugely successful program in the past and hints at his intention to repeat the success with the help of MNO and investments from readers. I usually find it suspicious when a HYIP admin tells me this, as he obviously has a reason for it and it’s usually not the one that will bring profits to my readers. So, he disappears from my radar and eventually launches his program in nine months and believes that MNO will back up his idea on being THAT admin who can turn dirt into gold without any effort from your part. All you need to do to make huge profits is join right from the start. In fact, that admin is so confident of everything going by his plan that he doesn’t even invest much in his new program and presents it with a half-baked design and with almost no expenses on his part. He was mistaken though as I have seen through him and made sure that his back-up story of an experienced admin doesn’t spread from me, as I suspect his true intention is a fast scam even though he wants to be associated with a brilliant program from the past. That admin really tried his best to make fake aliases and spread rumors and speculation to persuade potential investors that he was THAT same golden admin, and was hoping that I would play along and encourage everyone to invest big. Thankfully, I’m not that stupid and can see his fast scam coming from a mile away. As with any other programs on MNO, I warned of potential risks in joining any new program and discourage readers from believing fairy tales and fake assurances allegedly arising from one of his allegedly previous programs being a legend. And surprise-surprise! I was right and that program has become a fast scam with almost no one in profit. And why would it stay online much longer if the only intention was to collect money simply by spreading rumors of past glories without even investing in the new site’s development? It’s a lazy way to make money, but at the same time it was brilliant for someone too lazy to create anything new and only relying on others to do the work for him. After failing it he has become yet another one from the multiple HYIP admins that hate MNO for simply calling a spade a spade, but that’s another story I might be able to tell you sometime soon.

Quite the opposite happens many times as well, due to which many people lose their money. The admin simply replicates a program that ran in the past and which many investors remember making huge profits from. Then he lists on the same blogs or monitors while spreading rumors on forums that he’s the one who was responsible for making program X a success and that if you get into his new program Y now you will win big. The opposite usually happens and the program Y gets famous although people start talking about it and promoting it heavily without realizing the admin’s true intention to use the fame of the project X to scam big. And so it happens all over again with everyone disappointed and fooled because they believed the new project would replicate the success of the previous one. In this case we see that the fake past achievements were actually falsely assigned with the same ultimate result – a fast scam with no one in profit except for the admin in question.

And one more thought before wrapping up today’s article. Have you ever asked yourself this question – why would any admin try his best to tell you about his successes only but remain silent about his failures? It’s simply impossible that ALL the programs run by the same person are successful. Some will be donor sites for others, some will unexpectedly collapse earlier than expected due to DDoS-attacks and other disruptions, while others being outright scams to fund future projects. Well, I guess if you have read the whole article you have found the answer to your question – no admin will admit his past failures but everyone will take responsibility for past successes and sometimes even falsely claiming other admins’ achievements for their own benefit. So, be careful with what you believe, trust no one but your common sense and gut feeling! Only that way you will then eventually succeed in making long-term profits in the HYIP industry.

Many would agree that with the current level of volatility on the cryptocurrency markets where only BTC grew three times within just a couple of months this offer didn’t seem too lucrative for the majority of HYIP investors. And as GlobalCryptox only works with cryptocurrencies and also applies quite a hefty withdrawal fee all the possible returns could be considered as negligent in the longer term and certainly not worthy of the risk any HYIP imposes on investors.

Just a few days ago the admin of GlobalCryptox announced the addition of new investment plans which can be used by both new and old members of the program. The offers will credit your account on a daily (and not weekly as before) basis with the total return of 120% and the term depending on the size of your investment in USD. For example, if you want to invest between $50 to $499 worth of cryptocurrency you will get 3% daily for 40 days, if you want to make profits faster and have a deposit worth between $500 and $4,999 you will be paid 4% for 30 days, and finally for larger investors willing to risk $5,000 and more you will have the biggest daily interest of 5% spread over the shortest investment term of 24 days. As you can see the main principle is the total return remains the same for every category, however those with larger deposits will reach their 120% target much faster. Note that 120% is the total return on your investment with GlobalCryptox, so your profit is only 20% regardless of the plan you choose to invest in.

As GlobalCryptox can take only cryptocurrencies (BitCoin, LiteCoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Tether, BitcoinCash, Dash, Tron, Monero) your investment will convert into USD on making the deposit into any of the chosen plans and you will then convert it back to BTC to make a withdrawal. Before that it used to be a flat fee applied on every withdrawal request which would in essence eat all your profits, unless you withdraw less frequently. However, at the moment the BTC-USD conversion fee was abolished and instead the investor takes the hit on the 0.0004 BTC flat fee imposed by CoinPayments. While it might still seem a bit large (about $16 at the time of writing this) the admin of GlobalCryptox promised me to find a solution to this and once it’s done my readers will be the first to know.

The good news is as the minimum investment was dropped to $50 you will only need to add $25 worth of your own cryptocurrency to start investing, as anyone new signing up to GlobalCryptox will automatically receive a $25 bonus which you may use to boost your investment plan in the program. Although those of you invested in the old weekly plan will still stay in it and will be paid according to the terms of the previous plan. So, the new investment offer doesn’t apply to your old deposit retrospectively, but you may still use funds to invest in one of the new GlobalCryptox investment plans offering a 120% total return.

QUBITTECH – MAIN SITE OFFLINE AND MIRROR DOMAIN ACTIVATED, SECOND PROMO CAMPAIGN EXTENDED, QUANTUM LEAP WEBINAR STARTED, AND MORE NEWS

QubitTech caused quite a lot of investors to worry as the program’s main website has been offline all day today and couldn’t be loaded at the time of writing either. As it happened due to a powerful DDoS-attack possibly launched by jealous competition or blackmailers (as is usually the case in the HYIP industry) the mirror domain name with the .dev extension may be temporarily used to make deposits and request withdrawals. That information can be found on the official Telegram channel used for QubitTech, so we can assume it’s legit. Here is the full message which will be useful for everyone seeking to access the QubitTech main website at the moment:

Overall, I don’t believe the current downtime should give us any major reason to worry, as QubitTech simply cannot be compared with your regular HYIP being much bigger than that and having thousands of promoters and tens of thousands of investors from every corner of the world. If you haven’t read my detailed review of QubitTech posted here, let me remind you that the main plan known as a Digital License starts from a $100 minimum which is accepted via BitCoin or Ethereum and then converted into the internal USDT currency. If you paid attention to one particularly bizarre program that had been listed on the MNO monitor for over two weeks now bearing the strange name GiantSquid you might have noticed that its official launch has been constantly postponed. The admin was a bit fast in listing the unfinished program on MNO yet without thinking through all the complicated aspects involved in its actual development and technical issues that might arise. The good thing is that the official date when GiantSquid starts accepting new deposits seems to be set in stone now. It will be 01-00 am GMT February, 15 (or 09-00 am in Singapore as mentioned in the latest update one can read when trying to logging in:

MNO TALKBACK – RESULTS DRAWN AND NEW QUESTION ADDED

Last item to discuss for today before we wrap things up is the results of the most recent MNO readers opinion poll on the TalkBack page. I’ll be replacing this with a new question as usual, more on that in a moment.

So in the last poll I was making the point that you can have several good, solid, paying programs online at the same time without any of them being a clear and obvious industry leader. At the moment for instance, there’s a few decent programs where plenty of investors have already made a profit. But not one single program that stands out as the sort of “industry giant” which would inspire a massive rise in entire HYIP industry wide confidence. Or at least not yet anyway, these things tend to come and go as the months pass by.

With that in mind I was wondering what MNO readers thought about this scenario. Results were predictably mixed given that we’re only now emerging from one of the longest downturns in HYIP industry history, but I’m pleased to see that the mood is generally more optimistic. I know that I’ve often used the old expression “a rising tide floats all boats” on my blog before to describe the situation where all it really takes is just one single giant program that everyone is happy with and has confidence in for a dozen other smaller programs to benefit and thousands more investors to profit even more.

The exact question put to readers went as follows: When will we see the next big leader of the HYIP industry emerging?

The single biggest response with 40% of the vote, and remember that no specific programs were named in the poll, was that “It’s already online, it will be popular at the right time”. 30% took a more cautious view, but are still hopeful of a good industry wide recovery once the Covid pandemic is more closely under control when voting “In a few months from now, only when pandemic ends”. Meanwhile at the polar opposite end of the scale 20% of you seem to be somewhat pessimistic about what 2021 has in store, though honestly I don’t see why since there’s been a noticeable improvement already. But anyway, the view expressed here is that “This year will not have any definitive leaders at all”. And finally the remaining 10% of you are expecting a swifter recovery by voting “Within a few more weeks, it’s already in the making”. As always there’s no right or wrong answers, just opinions based on observances and experience, we’ll see whose views were the most accurate in due course.

For the next question on the MNO TalkBack page I want you to consider a possibility raised by the soon-to-launch program GiantSquid which as I mentioned above is now hoping for a launch date of February 15 after weeks of ongoing development work. Anyway, the strangest thing about GiantSquid is that it only accepts one currency as a payment method. Now, this in itself is not all that unusual, indeed there have been many successful programs which worked exclusively with BitCoin in the past. In fact the number one program in the industry at the moment is QubitTech with only two payment options and this has done nothing to hinder their popularity. But what’s unusual about GiantSquid is that their sole choice of payment option happens to be Tether, which there’s absolutely nothing wrong with other than no really having much of a foothold in the HYIP industry. In the years since cryptocurrencies in general started taking off among admins and investors I have to say I never remember anyone expressing a preference for Tether or any serious transactions going through it. And remember I’m speaking as a monitor here so I would have reason to be aware of that and would note it if I saw it.

Now, taking GiantSquid out of the picture for a moment, this question has nothing to do with them directly, would this situation be a hindrance for you joining any program? I suppose we all like choice, but is a program only offers one option, and that option was the one you were going to pick anyway, does the absence of let’s say PerfectMoney bother you that much if you didn’t even want it in the first place?

Or on the other hand, what if you really like the look of a program, really like your chances of making some good money out of it, and then discover that your first choice payment method isn’t available? What would you do? Would you take the trouble to open an account or wallet with a new service provider in order to join? Or would you just forget the whole thing and keep looking for something else?

My exact question for you then will be as follows:

Would you open a new payment processor or cryptocurrency account specifically to invest in one HYIP?
